Account and training

FocusRace stores your account details, training profile, ordinary onboarding answers, preferences, plans, completed sessions and race results.

Health and focus information

Safety flags, weekly health checks and optional neurodivergence answers are stored separately from your ordinary profile. Raw PAR-Q+ answers are not retained. Buddies cannot see your private health answers.

A linked coach sees only the categories you explicitly share; all sharing starts off. A study may request a limited weekly health score or neurotype category, but only with its own approved scope and your separate consent. Raw safety answers are not research exports.

Buddies and coaches

Buddy search is optional. It shows first name, photo, race, level and city. Gym and training times are shared only after an accepted request. Buddy chats, coach chats and AI coach history support the conversations you choose to have. You can stop coach sharing and delete AI coach history.

AI coach

Your message and a limited training context are sent to the AI service to generate a reply. Private focus information is excluded unless you enable its use. The AI coach is not a medical or emergency service. Research usage records contain allowed event categories, not conversation text.

Optional research

Each study has its own information, consent choices and participant code. Collection requires an active authorised study, valid approval dates, your relevant consent and the global collection switch. Research exports use codes rather than names or emails.

Study-team contact is separate: in-app contact and email sharing each require their own permission. An email shared with a study team is not part of the research dataset export. Withdrawing from a study stops collection and removes its stored answers, events and conversation; consent and withdrawal records can remain. Copies already downloaded by an authorised team cannot be recalled automatically.

Contact and access

The contact form stores the name and email you optionally provide and your message, to handle your request. Do not include health details. Authorised staff access is limited by role; privileged decisions and exports are logged.

Your choices and unfinished legal details

Settings offers an export of your training and profile data and an account-deletion request. My research lets you manage each study or withdraw without losing app access. Account deletion also withdraws you from studies and breaks the account-to-code link.
